Hotel Del Coronado The Cabanas, Pool and Sun Deck Renovation

Description: Complete renovation of the Cabanas complex at the Del, including: Renovation of the existing Cabana Guestroom Building featuring 97 guestrooms, corridors, atrium, and meeting rooms. The scope included demo back to structure and complete reconstruction of the interior including all new MEP infrastructure. Exterior work included all new doors, windows, glass handrails, and paint. Enhanced patios were constructed at ocean facing guestrooms including, brick pavers, cabanas, outdoor furniture, and fire tables. The Sun Deck renovation included complete demo, construction of a new 2-story kitchen building, expansion of the sun deck including additional BOH space, new elevator, all MEP infrastructure, AV system, pedestal paver system, new outdoor bar, and new perimeter all glass fence for unobstructed ocean views. Renovation of the hotel’s main pool included complete demo of the pool deck, new pool shell, all new pool equipment, brick pool deck, all new hardscape / landscape, glass fence pool enclosure, construction of a new spa, pool cabanas, renovation of the pool bathrooms, new Kid’s Club, new MEP infrastructure, and AV system. Construction of new Eno’s Pizza kitchen building and trellis were also completed. All projects included purchase and install of new FF&E.
